The route

The start of the route is on asphalt, which gives you plenty of time to get familiar with the e-bike. Once you reach the Altumeira car park, the fun begins: the terrain begins to be a little rough and gradually becomes steeper. Keep your legs strong and push on, but don't worry, the power of the e-bike will help you get over any slight difficulty.

The only moment that might worry you a bit is the climb up to the Val Viola lake, but once you have reached your destination, an amazing display of natural beauty will unfold before your eyes and all your efforts will be rewarded. On the way back, you can also choose a different route that will take you through Val Dosdè: leaving the lake behind, continue downhill towards a very wide depression that eventually splits into two paths. Take the path on the left and cross the Val Viola stream to reach the Val Cantone plain in Dosdè.
